One OAK Flooring is a second-generation family business that is proud to serve Calgary and the surrounding area with residential flooring solutions.
Founded in Toronto as “Andrews Flooring” in 1988 by Andrew (Andrzej in Polish) Pawelek, Andrew moved to Calgary in 1990 for a better quality of life close to the Rocky Mountains. His son Dominic was born a few years later, and started working in the family business at the age of 14.
Now known as One OAK Flooring the company is succeeded and run by Dominic in Calgary. Dominic is proud to continue his Father’s legacy by running the family business. He lives and breathing flooring on weekdays, while enjoying the Rocky Mountains on weekends, and visiting Dad who now lives in Revelstoke breathing fresh mountain air daily.
Dominic is known for his “always positive” attitude and attention to detail. He has been described as “extremely knowledgable” “friendly” “polite” and “forthright” by his clients. You can expect Dominic to listen carefully to identify your unique flooring needs and use his experience to deliver the very best products and craftsmanship.
Dominic and the One OAK team’s goals are to save customers time and stress by doing the job right the first time and using clean and efficient installation processes, to ultimately leave a work of art on your floor, a true masterpiece by their own hand!
