It all began in 1988, when Andrew (Andrzej in Polish) Pawelek founded “Andrews Flooring” in Toronto. In 1990, Andrew packed up and moved to Calgary for a life close to the Rocky Mountains. His son, Dominic, was born a few years later and grew up in the trade, working at the family business at just 14.
Now known as One OAK Flooring, the company is owned and run by Dominic in Calgary. He’s proud to continue his Father’s legacy by combining traditional installation methods with the precision of modern technology, including our industry-leading dustless sanding system.
